A key step in the implementation of the Joint Programming Initiative “A Healthy Diet for a Healthy Life” (JPI HDHL) Strategic Research Agenda is a Joint Action in the area of malnutrition in the elderly and its effective management. The Joint Action includes the development of a Knowledge Hub on Malnutrition in the Elderly.
On the 15th of April 2015 the JPI HDHL launches a call for Expressions of Interest in participating in the Knowledge Hub.
The main objective of the Joint Action “Malnutrition in the Elderly Knowledge Hub” is to support transnational networking activities on:
– The definition of malnutrition in the elderly.
– Integration and harmonisation of currently available valid and reliable screening instruments to enable identification of groups of elderly people that will benefit from nutrition interventions in different settings (e.g., home care, nursing homes, hospitals) and countries.
